Spring 2025

Maidu Little League is a volunteer driven organization for youth, league ages 4-14, to play Little League baseball.

Players (league age) 8+ need to provide either the School Enrollment Form (PREFERRED) OR residency forms as per LL (see below for document links). All player registrations need to provide a birth certificate, medical release form (when practices begin), and acknowledge the documents/policies in the registration.

What Divisions are available?

T-Ball, Farm, AA and AAA (collectively Minors), Majors, 50/70 (Intermediate), and Juniors divisions are available to register for this spring season.

What Division should my player register for?

Register for the Division your player fits into for both age and level of skill. Please note that Minors is a combination of both AA and AAA and your player will be drafted into the level that best suits them. Those that register for Majors, but are not drafted, will have a spot in AAA.

When does the spring season start/end?

Evaluations for minors and older divisions will be at the end of January. Practices for all divisions will begin in February and games will start in March. The season runs through May/June. Opening Day is scheduled on March 8^th.

What equipment does my player need?

The league supplies the player’s jersey and hat with your registration. The player will provide baseball pants, belt, and socks per the color the Manager communicates.

Your player will need their own glove (leather), baseball cleats (non-metal for Majors and younger), athletic supporter and cup (if applicable). A very limited amount of helmets, USA stamped bats, and catchers gear are available to share at certain levels, but most players do supply their own.

What is the schedule like?

A typical schedule is a practice during the week, a game during the week and a game on Saturday (weather permitting and pending availability). The number of teams and games depends on the number of players that register and the number of managers and coaches that volunteer.

What are evaluations?

For our players in minors and older division (does not apply to T-ball or Farm.) Evaluations are a 30 minute warm-up, followed by a 30-minute evaluation, grouped by age and division. Players will be evaluated in a variety of stations. All players must attend an evaluation (if there is only one team in the division an evaluation may not be held).

When will I hear from my player’s Manager and know their schedule?

T-Ball and Farm teams will be created and communicated once registration is fully closed. Minors and older divisions will be notified after the divisional drafts.
