Dan has been involved with Maidu Little League for the past twelve years and has served on the Board in different capacities for the past eight years. He has coached from T-ball through Majors, including All Stars, and enjoys watching kids develop a love for the game of baseball. He and his wife, Ryn, have three kids, Henry, Nina, and Spencer. Katie has been a part of Maidu Little League for five years and this is her second year on the Board. When Katie is not at her kids' various sporting events, she loves spending her time with family and friends and chasing food trucks. Email [email protected]
Karel Bustos - Treasurer
Karel has been with Maidu Little League since 2019 as a Coach and Manager. This will be his second year on Maidu Little League board. He enjoys the opportunity to be involved in helping kids develop their skills and enjoy baseball. Kristina Osborne - Safety
Kristina is our Maidu Little League Safety Officer. She has two boys, Dean and Ian, who have played with the league since 2019. She is a Registered Nurse and enjoys running, hiking and skiing with her family. Email [email protected]
Ryn Gumpert - Registrar
Ryn joined the Maidu Little League Board in 2020 and has served as Communications, Secretary, and Registrar. She grew up as Giants fan and has now added whatever teams her kids are on to that roster. Christina Castro - Communications
Christina has been part of the Maidu League for four years, coaching and managing the dugout from T-Ball to AA. With two boys who share her love for baseball and a husband who also coaches, the game has become a true family passion. Kyle Masciovecchio - Field Maintenance
Kyle has been a part of Maidu Little League for five years, with this being his first year as a Board Member. He has managed several teams from Farm through Majors divisions in both the Spring and Fall Ball seasons. He enjoys watching the kids grow into great ballplayers over the years and values the relationships he has built during his time in the league. Eleven years ago, Carl was a parent, volunteer, and coach with three at Maidu Little League. Today, his kids are grown but he remains committed to coaching and volunteering in the league. Carl believes in the values and experiences Little League provides to children in our community. Nick is our Maidu Little League Information Officer and has been involved with the league for seven years. He enjoys coaching and playing baseball with his two sons, Dean and Ian. Nick Graham - Coaching Coordinator
Nick brings over 20 years of experience coaching youth baseball and is passionate about developing players at all levels. His coaching journey began at the tee-ball level and then progressed into competitive travel baseball and eventually high school baseball, where he focused on skill refinement, strategic gameplay, and preparing players for the next level. His approach centers on player development, emphasizing not only baseball skills but also the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and mental fortitude both on and off the field. Justin Pressfield - AAA Player Agent
Justin was born and raised in the Bay Area where he grew up playing baseball, basketball, and golf. After living in DC for a decade after college, he moved to Roseville to start a family with his wife, Lissa. His two sons have been in Maidu Little league since T-Ball. Gary Basile - AA Player Agent
Gary began volunteering at Maidu Little League in 2019. He has been a manager at the T-Ball, Farm, AA, and AAA levels coaching his son, Mason. Gary joined the board in 2021 as the Tball/Farm Player Agent and is currently the AA Player Agent. He grew up in Manteca, CA and has always been involved with youth sports in multiple roles for various organizations. Gary is a die-hard fan of the Oakland Athletics and enjoys snowboarding, working on his golf game, and trying out new restaurants with his wife, Natasha. He loves baseball and takes pleasure in teaching the fundamentals of the game to the next generation of ballplayers in the Maidu Little League community. Email [email protected]
Eddie Sanchez - Tee Ball/Farm Player Agent
Eddie has been with Maidu Little League for six seasons, coaching his son EJ throughout each one. Originally from Fairfield, CA, Eddie played collegiate baseball at Sacramento City College. With over 15 years of coaching experience from tee ball to high school, he brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the field. His goal as a Little League coach is to foster a genuine love for the game, helping kids develop the skills and enthusiasm to continue playing at the next level. Email [email protected]

Kristy has been a baseball and hockey Mom for six year, part of the Maidu Little league community since 2020, and this is her first year as a Board member. She has two boys playing for Maidu Little League and is so thankful for the amazing people she has met through this community. This is Kaylee’s fourth year on the Board, but Maidu has been home for over nine years. She is a Mother of three and loves being part of their little league journey. Her favorite part about volunteering are the amazing families she comes across and watching the kids grow, both athletically and individually.
