The families of the AA Giants and Maidu Little League would like to express our condolences to Jacob Kalb, his mom Christy and their family. Jacob's father passed away last Monday. His services will be held on Monday 5/12. For those who wish to, the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Washington Mutual Bank c/o Christy Kalb FBO Joshua Kalb.

RECENT GAME RESULTS

A four-run first and a seven-run fourth inning were key to the Major Orioles 13-8 win over the RELL Cardinals on Thursday night at Maidu Park. John Hynes led the O's offense.
The Major Padres posted three runs in each of the first two innings, then held on as the Dodgers rallied with four in the fourth and two more in the fifth to claim a 7-6 win on Wednesday night at Maidu Park. Brandt Misik, Colin Harrigan, and Brandon Bermel each had two hits to power the Padres offense, while Brady Schmicking led the Dodgers with a pair of knocks.
The Junior Twins held off the Roseville West A's on Tuesday night, as Mack Boone and Jared Walbert combined to toss a three-hitter in a 4-3 win at Clancy Field. Boone fanned nine Athletics over five innings, while Walbert came on to mow down four more in two strong innings out of the bullpen. Jared Phelan powered the Twin offense with a four hit night at the dish.

In Major division action at Maidu Park, the Red Sox unleashed the offense in an 11-6 win over the Roseville East Mets. Scotty Walton's towering blast over the center field fence with one out in the third inning broke up a 3-3 tie and ignited a Sox offense that plated three in third and four more in the fourth. Ryan Schoenborn banged a big double in that third inning as well, and RJ Johnson had three hits for the Red Sox. Jordan Bridges pitched 3-2/3 solid innings for the Sox, and Robert Walton came in to finish things off on the hill.

The Major Dodgers and Red Sox face off at 9 AM at Maidu 1, followed by a matchup between the Major Padres and Orioles at 11:30 AM.
